• Oak Hill Cemetery was founded in 1842. It is a city owned cemetery. The cemetery has approximately 100 acres of flat and rolling hills with road access to all sections throughout the Cemetery. At this time, there are approximately 20,000 graves.

• The superintendent is responsible for supervising and directing all operations of the cemetery as well as directing the work force and maintenance of the cemetery grounds and cemetery records.

• Oak Hill Cemetery gates are open daily seven (7) days a week from 8:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The cemetery office is open Monday through Friday from the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
