TRASH DUMPING AT TAYLORVILLE STREET & SEWER DEPARTMENT A SERVICE TO RESIDENTS WITHIN THE TAYLORVILLE CITY LIMITS A $1.00 TAG IS REQUIRED FOR EACH BAG OR ITEM TO BE DEPOSITED
1. ALL TRASH MUST BE IN BAGS OR BOXES. CARPET MUST BE ROLLED AND TIED SECURELY. NO LOOSE TRASH.
2. NO CONCRETE, RAILROAD TIES, BRICKS, TIRES, USED OIL, PAINT, GASOLINE, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS OR HAZARDOUS WASTES.
3. NO SHINGLES, DRY WALL, PALETTES, LUMBER OR CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS ALLOWED.
4. NO CONTRACTORS ALLOWED.
5. OLD FURNITURE, MATTRESSES, TELEVISIONS AND MICROWAVES ACCEPTED.
6. ATTENDANT MUST ASK FOR PROOF OF RESIDENCY OF THE TAYLORVILLE CITY LIMITS.
7. Located at the Street Department are facilities for City residents to dispose of household waste, yard waste, old appliances and scrap metal, and a recycling bin. A $1.00 per bag fee is charged for the disposal of the household waste. Disposal of yard waste, old appliances and scrap metal, and the collection of approved recyclables, continues to be free of charge.
8. HOURS FOR THE DUMPSTER, YARD WASTE, RECYCLING BIN AND SCRAP METAL BIN ARE:
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY 7:00 A.M. TO 3 P.M. ALL CLOSED TUESDAY AND THURSDAY
